Synopsis

The story

12-year-old basketball prodigy Caden Issacs navigates the turbulent waters of grief and adolescence after the sudden death of his father, Darren. Moving to Nashville to live with his estranged mother, Lexi, a driven music executive, Caden struggles to find his place on a new elite basketball team while grappling with the high expectations of those around him. Through intense rivalries, newfound friendships, and the relentless pursuit of excellence, Caden learns to process his pain and rediscover his passion for the game.

A family drama with a built-in sports audience

Basketball is the setting, but the story is about a parent and a kid finding each other. That doubles the audience: sports households and general family-drama moviegoers.

Recognizable cast for a title this size

Jaime Pressly, Michael Rapaport, Johnny Simmons, and NBA All-Star Baron Davis give the one-sheet immediate marquee value at the box office.

Festival-proven with audiences

Opening night at Dallas International Film Festival plus a festival sweep of top awards. Reaction footage from every screening supports local marketing.

Group sales and community bookings

Youth leagues, AAU clubs, school teams, and faith and family groups are natural block-buy partners. Built-in four-wall and premiere-night potential in any market.
